Selected Carnes Group Projects:

Small Business Advocacy Company:  Carnes Group provided project management, design and implementation services to help roll out a standardized technology platform for branch offices across the U.S.  The technology included Cisco network products, Dell hardware, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, and Office 2003.  The solution created a secure VPN to the company WAN as well as provides remote data backup capability to the corporate data center.  Carnes Group later delivered a Microsoft Software Asset Management project that allowed the company to make informed licensed choices based upon their inventory and expansion plans for their Microsoft products.

Music Publishing Company:  Carnes Group designed and implemented a new network, server and technology infrastructure based on Cisco network products, Dell hardware, Microsoft Windows 2003 Small Business Server, Exchange 2003 and Windows XP/2000, and Office 2003/2000 software.  The new technology platform allows for secure remote access, redundant data backups and fast network access and is designed to allow the company to link to their international operations. A new automated backup method was put in place with scheduled backups and notifications.

Artist Representation and Management Agency:  Carnes Group designed and implemented a new network and server infrastructure based on Cisco network products, Dell hardware and Microsoft Windows 2003 Small Business Server products, and re-architected desktop information access.  A new automated backup method was put in place with scheduled backups and notifications.

International Global Technology Company:  Carnes Group provided services solutions development, positioning and selling activities on behalf of a large technology company who specializes in Microsoft Infrastructure, Storage Area Network (SAN), and Clustering technologies.  Activities centered on Solutions Design involving migration from older technologies and new implementation of Windows 2003 Active Directory, Exchange 2003, SQL Server 2000 clustering and EMC SAN implementations.  Carnes Group was able to leverage its relationships with Microsoft to add value to the relationship and advice on engaging Microsoft early in the selling process.  Carnes Group maintained a seamless experience to the company's customers and delivered proposals generating thousands of dollars with high customer satisfaction. 

National Music Organization: Carnes Group conceived, designed, developed and implemented a web site to advertise a new music organization to a global audience.  Work was done in a rapid development mode with an initial presence available overnight.  Carnes Group maintains the web hosting, domain registration and does the ongoing maintenance of the site. 

Music Group:  Carnes Group gave advice on web hosting and then conceived, designed, developed and implemented a web site to advertise a music group to a global audience. The basic site was operational in one day and included graphics, email capabilities and plans for online ecommerce.  Carnes Group maintains ongoing maintenance of the site.

Home/Residential Markets: Carnes Group developed and uses a proprietary method to clean spyware and virus and "tune" PC's and home networks and instructs users on how to perform ongoing maintenance themselves.  Carnes Group send periodic emails to these clients informing them about the latest PC threats and how to maintain their home technology.
