This is a Nashville-based position and the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing leads, creating strategic business plans, positioning and selling services, account management and ongoing relationship building. The position also has responsbilities to help support marketing efforts and be involved in developing marketing programs. ONGOING NEEDS
We have ongoing specific needs for individuals in two distinct areas: End-User Support Engineers and Microsoft Consulting Experts. The qualities and responsibilities are as follows:
End-User Support Engineers – these persons do all the normal day to day support to keep a business and its technology running. Job activities would include: PC support and deployment, anti-virus, firewall support, troubleshooting, hardware deployment, help desk, patch deployment and maintenance, Microsoft Systems Update System, backups, disaster planning and all those tasks needed to maintain, support and proactively manage the user technology. Networking experience is a plus and typically a need in these positions. Support Engineers also provide home PC and technology support on an as-needed basis. Travel around the Metro-Nashville area is typical and flexible work hours are required for home support.
Microsoft Infrastructure Consultants – these technology experts concentrate on Microsoft Infrastructure, specifically on Windows Server family products with primary emphasis on Exchange, SQL Server, and Microsoft Operating systems and software. Experience and references are required and MCP and MCSE certifications are preferred. Microsoft Consulting is done on a project basis and is typically in the Nashville or Middle Tennessee area. Typical projects are: Active Directory Design, Windows 2003 and/or Exchange 2003/2007 Implementation, Desktop standardization and implementation, Unified Communication with Voice Over IP, Windows Mobile Devices, Small Business Server 2003, and so on. Carnes Group is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and has access to all software needed by these experts to perform these tasks.
